A2L is here, copper eased, and a pricing sheet you can steal
This week: the A2L transition in plain English, where parts costs moved, and a flat-rate framework you can copy.
The one thing this week: A2L
New residential systems now ship with A2L refrigerants (R-454B, R-32). They are mildly flammable, which changes tools, storage, and how you talk to customers. If you have not sorted your A2L-rated recovery gear and training, do it before the busy season. Full checklist in our A2L guide.
Pricing and supply
Copper line-set costs eased about 4% in most regions this week, and two major brands report shorter lead times on two-stage condensers. If your flat-rate book still reflects last quarter costs, you are leaving margin on the table.
Tool of the week
If you are still quoting on paper, a field-service app that lets techs take payment in the driveway is the fastest cash-flow win there is. See the shortlist in the directory.
The business side
Reviews are the single biggest lever for local demand. Ask every happy customer for one before you leave. More in our lead-gen guide.
